There are hundreds of species of herbs in the world. While some of their uses include cooking and aromatherapy, herbs have also traditionally been used to heal ailments and allergies. You may already be familiar with popular herbs like thyme, sage and parsley. But did you know that there are many unknown herbs with miraculous benefits that people haven’t even heard of? That’s right!

Goat’s Rue

The schisandra berries are consumed as food as well as used traditionally as a medicine. They have been used for centuries in China due to their healing powers for liver, kidney, lung and heart diseases.

Schisandra can be consumed in the form of a tincture made from dried berries for increasing energy, stamina, sex drive and normalizing blood sugar and blood pressure.

Brahmi



Brahmi is a unique herb with beautiful white blooms that is native to India and Australia. Also known as water hyssop, this herb is found in the warm wetlands of these regions and is used as an ayurvedic medicine for helping with neurological problems. It has been traditionally used to help with anxiety, stress and stomach problems. Although it has been used traditionally for thousands of years, it’s only now that its medicinal benefits are being studied by science.

Black Cohosh

As mysterious as it seems from its name, Black Cohosh is also very rare and unusual. This herb is grown in the forests of North America and is not known to many people. It is mainly used as an herbal remedy for treating symptoms related to women’s health.

It also helps relieve premenstrual cramps, discomfort, painful menstruation and with menopausal symptoms. Black Cohosh can also help with night sweats, mood swings, anxiety and hot flashes.
