Teasel, Dipsacus fullonum, common teasel, or wild teasel, is a flowering plant species from the Caprifoliaceae or honeysuckle family native to Eurasia and North Africa. Growing as an herbaceous biennial, the plant reaches up to the height of 1 to 2.5 meters and producescylindrical inflorescences of lavender flowers that dry up to form cones of hard bracts.
