Marjoram (Origanum majorana) has a long history in European medicine for its medicinal virtues. Originally from the Mediterranean Basin, Marjoram is a perennial, aromatic and ligneous herb about 60 cm in height, with oval leaves of grayish green color. It is identifiable by its small pinkish or white flowers, which have two bracts and nest in the axils of its upper leaves.
