TASTE IS GOOD. SUPPOSED TO HELP WITH STOMACH ACID. I'M USING IT FOR DIGESTION. CAN'T REALLY SAY IF IT'S EFFECTIVE BECAUSE I ALSO TAKE BETAINE HYDROCHLORIDE WITH MEALS. YOU'LL HAVE TO TRY IT YOURSELF TO SEE. HAPPY WITH THE QUALITY AND PURITY OF THIS PRODUCT THOUGH. ONLY ISSUE IS THE PACKAGING. THE TIGHT WHITE PLASTIC WRAPPER IS TRICKY TO OPEN. I ACCIDENTALLY CUT THE DROPPER TOP WITH SCISSORS. NOW I USE A SMALL ACCO CLIP TO SEAL THE BOTTLE. SO, BE CAREFUL OPENING THE WRAPPER.

Fantastic gentian extract, bitter but the VG takes the edge off
This gentian tincture is fantastic. The vegetable glycerin adds a touch of sweetness that helps with the bitterness of the gentian, which is still quite bitter but just as powerful as the alcohol-based version. I always take this before meals to boost my stomach acids, and it has been a real lifesaver for me. It even helps with my acid reflux, which is due to poor digestion.
Since I use gentian regularly throughout the day, the glycerin extract is a smart option to keep my alcohol consumption to a minimum. I'm really happy I came across this product!
