Our cholesterol was on the high side, so instead of jumping on a prescription right away, we opted to give these a shot. After roughly a month, our cholesterol dropped by 20 points. We also tweaked our diet by cutting out dairy and capping saturated fat at 16 grams. I assume that the combination of these adjustments contributed to the decrease in cholesterol levels. On top of that, we shed some pounds and had to update our wardrobe. A total win-win situation!
